The Louisiana Legistlature created the Mega Project Authority in order to respond quickly to companies that create a large number of new jobs with major investment in the state.The legistlature has set aside funds to help identify and prepare “build-ready sites”; address infrastructure and workforce/training needs and; facilitate permitting and processing. Finely tuned to the needs of the industry, the Mega Project Authority acts on behalf of the state in the planning, financing, development, construction and operation of the project. Through the authority, a prospective client is assured the holistic cooperation of the state, which includes the Governor, the Cabinet, the state legistlative leadership and local and regional partners.

In addition to developmental stewardship throughout the entire process, from siting to startup, Louisiana offers:
